Taqueria El Marino 2: Reviews & Ratings
We were passing by when we decided to stop here. I thought it was really cool how they converted a bus! The steps up to the window are a bit precarious, so PLEASE be careful! All I can say about the food was that it was average, but still pretty good.
The tacos themselves were flavorful, well portioned, and the tortilla really brought it all together. I got Al Pastor, the green sauce was tasty but spicy in the best ways (if you don’t have a high spice tolerance I’d start with less). I see why people comment on the service. I’m used to the best places having staff that treats you a little badly, it didn’t ruin the experience for me. I’d come back for sure so, if you’re doubting it, take the chance! It was worth it for us (especially in this economy LOL)
Good tacos, clean too. These ladies have a good business going. I pulled up they were cleaning the area and they were very nice and got my food quickly. First bite was great, unique taco flavor. Don't judge the opd blue bus they are working out of, they keep it clean and deserve your business you will not be disappointed
Hidden away looks a little grungy, but you know that’s the sign you’re about to have a good time. What we tried: Asada, Al Pastor, cabeza, and lengua tacos. Asada:was pretty good very flavorful Al pastor: very good and flavorful Cabeza: good, but I prefer Tacos Jalisco for their cabeza Lengua: Best lengua tacos I’ve tried in Tri-Cities They handmade their tortillas which taste freshly made, warm, and they’re a little on the thicker side than your traditional street taco tortilla. They are filling, so if you order 5 usually aim for 3-4 depending how starving you are. The quesadilla I asked for was very plain with not enough cheese. Red and green salsa are both spicy Cash preferred but I’m not sure if they accept cards.
Food was good but I’m sorry but four tacos and a torta isn’t worth almost 30$!!! I can get that at a sit down restaurant for the same price

Taqueria El Marino 2605 N Gum St, Kennewick, WA 99336, United States Hotline: +1 509-302-6743
Nestled at 605 N Gum St in Kennewick, Washington, Taqueria El Marino 2 offers an unpretentious yet memorable taco experience from a uniquely converted blue bus. This vibrant food spot might look a bit rough around the edges, but what it lacks in flash, it more than makes up for with fresh, flavorful food and a warm, authentic atmosphere.
The highlight here is undoubtedly their tacos. Made with handmade tortillas that are thicker and heartier than your typical street taco, each bite feels substantial and satisfying. The variety is impressive—Asada, Al Pastor, Cabeza, and Lengua each deliver robust, layered flavors. Particularly, the lengua tacos stand out as some of the best in the Tri-Cities area, showcasing both skilled preparation and a respect for traditional Mexican flavors. The Al Pastor's accompanying green sauce is a spicy, vibrant kick that complements the tender meat perfectly, though spice-sensitive diners should approach with caution.
While some dishes, like the quesadilla, may feel underwhelming with less cheese and simpler flavor profiles, the overall food quality remains consistently good. Service here is straightforward — the staff are hardworking and courteous, managing quick turnaround in a compact setting behind the bus window. The modest, cash-preferred operation values cleanliness and craft over bells and whistles, creating a genuine local vibe.
Price points draw mixed opinions, with some feeling the cost skews high for portable fare, yet the tactile freshness and flavorful executions justify a visit. If you're wandering through Kennewick and craving real, handmade tacos with a punch of authentic spice and heart, Taqueria El Marino 2 earns a solid spot on the must-try list.
